The National Rifle Association (NRA) Basic Handgun Course and Texas License to Carry course. Texas state requirements for handgun permit application can be found on the Texas Department Of public safety website. The course is conducted at the BMDT’s facility in Austin, TX and includes both classroom instruction and range time. This is to ensure that students understand and demonstrate the fundamentals of safe firearm handling. The course is instructed by an NRA certified instructor & Texas Department of public safety certified instructor .
